Our historyOur history: our hotel and our restaurant opened in the 1948.
We have been fisherman since 1920. Starting with only two rooms and a tavern, we've been hotel owners wince 1948. My grandfather " Giovanni", whose name I bare, was the founder our large family of fisherman and subsequently hotel owners and beach mangagers.
The fishing began with a sailboat, on which the patriarch Giovanni, with four other fisherman, lived their days fishing for food, as at the time the fish market was not profitable due to poverty and taxes on caught fish.
After the Second World War, the situation started to change, instead of the sailboat, he bought the first 6 horse power diesel engine.
After that, the first commercial business was started, managed by my grandmother, Antonia, nicknamed the "Mora" (brunette), who fried the fresh fish in the tavern and served it on straw paper, accompanied by a glass of wine taken directly from the barrel
The business gradually grew, improving upon itself, up until today where the fishing has progressed, eventhough it is not the same method once used, the fish is still fresh!
My brother Antonio manages the boats, with a diploma from the nautical technical institute of Fano, while my brother Franco, a lifeguard, manages the beach.
I, Giovanni, with great gratification in continuing this tradtion, in our fourth generation, manage the restaurant and the hotel with the assistance of my wife, Donatella, and my children, Francesco and Eleonora, who both graduated from hotel management school, supported by their cousins, Agnese and Marco.
Today the hotel has significantlly changed, both in size and services offered, but what we are most proud of is having maintained our traditions, such as: homemade pasta, homemade baked goods for breakfast, and fresh fish fished from our boats and cooked with old standing recipes, accompanied by wine from local vineyards not more than 10km away.

Owner of the Hotel Restuarant Marinella, from a fisherman he chose the path of a restauranteer bringing with him all his knowledge of the sea and of fishing.
Giovanni's wife, a cook from a young age, over time and experience she has gained great skills in fish preperation and cooking.
Giovanni and Donatella's first son graduated with highest marks as a restauranteer technical service provider at the hotel management institute of Pesaro and then graduated with honors in agricultural industrial biotechnology at Urbino University; studies that have given him a full 360° view of the family business.
Giovanni and Donatella's daughter, graduated with the highest markes as a tourist service technitian at the hotel management institute of Pesaro, which allowed her to optimize her ability to relate to clients.
Francesco's wife, graduated from the humanities institute, with her willingness and kindness, she has found in the bar her perfect place to work adapting also to other work environments.
